This 1 minute, 23 second long video is the only verifiable proof an intellectual needs to verify the negligent, self indulgent attitude of this generation.
It not only teaches you about responsibility, but it SHOULD teach you that if you're voting for him, chances are you're not the pluckiest plum in the patch.

To be fair, our generation isn't voting for him.
And this is pretty hilarious.

You'd be surprised by the number of people I've met who want to re-elect him solely based on the entertainment value that he has, as if that's going to fix pressing issues such as a delapidated Gardiner, or a derelict Scarborough RT, or an overcrowded DVP.
People pretend like they want an intelligent person involved, but when it comes time to make the decision for a better future, more people are only considerate of the immediate future and what it can bring them individually, instead of as a whole.

I've heard a few of those, albeit not seriously stated. Those who say that seem to be politically apathetic though, and would probably forget to vote. I would say they're outnumbered by the sheer amount of people who are tired of Rob Ford's shit right now.
Although now that you bring it up, the Gardiner Expressway seems to be a political elephant for any candidate; there's no cheap way of dealing with it properly. The longer the city waits and throws money at maintenance, the worse it is going to get. Whatever solution is put forward is going to hurt commuters in the near future, but it's likely worth it in the long term. I just don't know how may voters will listen.
I'm glad I don't have to deal with Toronto commutes though; being a couple of minutes off St. George campus makes life very easy.
